So, 4 years have passed since the grimoire accident and 5 since I was reincarnated. Today is a special day for me! Its the day to receive my status panel; of course, Ive already had one but today I believe Ill be able to get the whole thing! After I acquired the space-time affinity and I saw messages I have never seen before so I could only assume I had a beta kind of access to my status.

”Kuromi, are you ready? ” my eldest brother, Arthur asked. He was going to be escorting me to the area where I would get my status.

”Yes, brother! I have a question though? ” I asked

”Hmm, what is it? ”

”Well, you see, is the awakening area gonna be crowded with people? ” I asked shyly

”Actually, about that, the temple agreed to allow you to have a private room. A very very rare exception but mother and uncle Dominick pulled some strings for you. ” My brother answered.

Sigh~ Good, Im worried everything won go so smoothly, thankfully a little stress has been taken care of. Hmm? Why is Eric standing there like a knight?

I walked toward him and asked if he could bend down. Once he did, I whispered in his ear. ”Eric, when did you become a knight? ”

”Um, young miss, Im actually using an illusion spell right now. So, can you try not to reveal me to the others? ” He asked wryly.

”Oh, I didn even notice, my apologies, and don worry Ill play this off for you! ” I winked at him before backing away and intentionally saying loudly that I was complimenting his bearing. Of course, that was a lie but I believe I played it off very nicely.

To think the miss looked right passed my illusion magic, this could be a problem in the future. Eric thought to himself with a troubled smile.

### at the temple; early afternoon (1:00pm)

Wow~ the temple is really huge, way bigger than I thought it was originally gonna be! They really are trying to be closer to God or the gods. It would be pretty awkward if they found out there were actually no gods at all. Not like I know but I mean it would be pretty funny to see the look on the believers faces when they found out.

Anyways, Im excited to unlock the rest of my system. I can only imagine all of the shit Im missing from my status. Who knows maybe a shop function? Training system? inventory/storage system? Think about how much easier my life would be with a shop and inventory system! Oh, wait if the system did have an inventory system why the need for storage rings? Thinking about it like that I guess there is no storage system, upsetting but oh well.

”I don think Ill need luck! ” I said while flicking my hair back with a smug smile.

e doing. I could peek but Ill think Ill hold out on that. Alright, its time for business! I feel like a little kid getting a new toy. Actually, I guess technically I am that kid.

The walk to my designated area wasn long at all, it took a little over 5 minutes to get to the room. Along the way some of the other children and adults were wondering why I got a special room but thats not my problem. In the room, there was a cube-like stone on top of a pedestal. The stone sparkled a little bit before shimmering then going back to sparkling.

”Miss Kuromi, when I leave the room, a special seal will be activated that will lock you in this room until you fully awaken your status and class. Anything that happens on the inside will not be known to the outside as well. Additionally, unlike the other children, you won have to reveal your status to the temple as your father has given us a hefty reward! ” I turned around and got a look at the person who was explaining all this and it was actually the head priest from before!

”So, my father bribed you huh ” I replied with a deadpan expression.

”Bribed? No, we made a trade on equal terms actually. Our temple takes no bribes, just trades! ” The head priest tried to explain to me but to be honest I wasn buying his shit. ”Anyways good luck! ” He waved while he made his way out of the room.

So, All I have to do is place my hand on the stone and I assume it does everything for me? Hmm, not really a fan of that but whatever! No need to think about all the complicated things right now. Im technically a kid so I should enjoy a life like one for now. Ill let my experienced side of me return when I need it.

Placing my hand on the cube-like stone nothing happened for a few seconds before it started to rapidly drain my energy. OWW! Nobody said it was gonna be this **ing painful! The draining continued until the stone abruptly stopped and pricked blood out of my hand. Once, it acquired my blood; the cube started to rotate and spin fast enough to create a wind vortex

I guess I just wait here for now but how long do I have to wait? I guess it doesn matter actually, Ill just let nature take its course. I mean since I already know my main class and subclass I have nothing to worry about really. Eventually, after what felt like 10 minutes the cube stopped spinning and shot toward me before entering my body. As it entered me I thought I was gonna feel more pain but instead it was a more warming feeling. This feeling only lasted for a few seconds before my new status screen popped up.

Interesting messages and it seems you can earn titles and not have to be born with them. Lets see if I go in order from the first message; System can name race for me. Secondly, Ill distribute my status points now. Lastly, I chose the 3rd option for my reward option but Ill choose what to fuse later.
