After school, Rin was heading to the station building where his part-time job was located when he saw a group of people arguing.

Three boys were surrounding one girl.

The boys on the other side of the girl were wearing the same high school uniform as Rin.

The sight of several boys from the same high school ganging up on a single girl was not a very pleasant sight.

Rin had to walk past them to get to his part-time job.

This meant that Rin, wearing the same uniform, would turn a blind eye to a situation that was clearly in his line of sight.

People passing around them looked at them from a distance and left.

No one looked at them, but they were complete strangers to each other.

However, Rin felt that they were not complete strangers because they were wearing the same uniform.

As far as the three boys were concerned, he didn’t know a single one of them.
……

“What’s wrong?”

Rin reluctantly called out to them.
Rin’s honest feelings were clashing inside him, and he hoped for a result he would not have to talk to them.

But it didn’t work out that way.

“I’ve been telling you no for a while now, but you still persist.”

The girl then went behind Rin and gripped the back of his blazer with both hands.

Rin then received envious glances from the three boys who were ganging up on the girl.

Rin would have preferred to pass by, pretending not to notice, but the fact that they were wearing the same uniform made him feel guilty.

Why are we in the same high school, of all the things? … Rin swore in his mind.

“What the h**l is wrong with you, hey Nakazato-san!” One of the boys exclaimed,

“It’s nothing.
Just passing through.” Rin replied,

“Then get out of here.”

Rin thought since these boys liked to gang up on people it would be better he didn’t get involved with them, but they weren’t as short circuit as he had expected.

In fact, he was even slightly perplexed.

“Nakazato-san seemed to be saying she turned you down? Were you trying to pick her up? Then you’ve been turned down, so you might as well give up.”

“It’s none of your business.”

“But you guys go to the same school, and you’re wearing the same uniform, so it’s not like I can just turn a blind eye.”

“We’re talking to Nakazato-san here, so leave us alone.”

Rin was at a loss and decided to seek answers from the girl behind him.

“Nakazato-san? This looks like they won’t leave us, so I think it would be faster to file a complaint with the school or talk to the police, don’t you think?”

The four people who heard Rin’s words all look at him with the same look on their faces.

As for Rin, he wanted to get out of this situation as soon as possible, so he just said what he thought would be the quickest way to get rid of the situation, but the three boys in particular were visibly upset.

“You’re going to complain to your own school? Isn’t that kind of weird?” Nakazato-san said,

From her words, He could tell that Nakazato-san was also in the same high school.

Rin didn’t think it was odd, but then perhaps the police.

For Rin, anything would be fine as long as the situation would be settled.

“Then how about if we bring this to police?” Rin said,

“We just wanted to talk.”

“Wanting to call the police, what does she think of her fans?”

While Rin was talking with Nakazato-san, the boys moved away, mumbling a few words.

“Have they left?” Rin asked,

“Thank you.
Those guys were insistent on having tea with me.” Nakazato-san replied,

“I see.
It was a misfortune.
Well then, I’ll go now.”

“What? Wait a minute!”

“What? What is it?”

Rin was about to leave when Nakazato-san stopped him with a curious look on his face.

Rin had a part-time job starting at 5:00 p.m.
and wanted to head there immediately, but he couldn’t ignore being called, so he had no choice but to respond.

“Um, you don’t know me?”

“Are you picking on me, by any chance? Of course not.
Have we met?”

“No, we’ve never met, but can you tell me your … name?”

“Rin Kurashiki.”

“Rin is a rarity among boys, isn’t it?”

“I know right.
Well then, I apologize, but I have a part-time job after this, so I’ll be going.”

Rin cut the conversation short and left, as his part-time job was coming up.

Not that he did not want to chat a bit more if he had the time to do so.

It could be said that she had a rather beautiful face, but with an atmosphere of cuteness and proportions that were a bit too well-developed for a high school student.

Rin was a little disappointed that he had to cut the conversation short, but when he went to school the next day, Nakazato-san was in front of his classroom.
