With his line of sight blocked, Qin Yi smirked and very quickly warmed up to Ye Zhifan.

Especially after noticing how he sat down and kept tossing gazes at her daughter, the more she had a feeling that this person wasn’t reliable at all! Though Mister Qin before his eyes had a slightly frivolous look, he was indeed a member of the Qin family, after taking a closer look, he does seem quite similar to Qin Xiu, whom he had seen several times. 

The moment Old Jiang the matchmaker, noticed the two warmed up to each other, he couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief in his heart.

Although Qin Yi called him brother-in-law, it was nothing more than because his wife’s last name was Cao and was a cousin-branch of the Qin family.
If they really wanted to get into the details, he wasn’t even Qin Yi’s brother-in-law, it’ll be more precise to say he was Qin Xiu’s brother-in-law; after all, only Qin Xiu’s mother had the last name, Cao. 

As to Qin Yi, he was just Qin Xiu’s younger cousin. 

“Little Brother Qin, why don’t you have a chat with Director Ye, for now, I’ll go and check whether or not Old Mister Cao had arrived.” Old Jiang got up, intending to leave the empty space to Qin Yi, “If the Old Mister has arrived, I’ll come back for you immediately.”

Qin Yi wanted nothing more for him to leave, he smiled: “Then I’ll have to trouble brother-in-law Jiang for that.”

It was Old Mister Cao’s 80th birthday today; Qin Yi was one of the Qin family members that came to celebrate; how could he be absent.

Ye Zhifan’s gaze flickered briefly as he expressed an apologetic face, he apologized: “I’ve troubled Mister Qin to set aside some time out of your busy schedule to come over here, how about this, if Mister Qin is still in the Provincial City tomorrow night, then I’ll arrange another dinner tomorrow to thank Mister Qin.”

There probably won’t be a deal if they only met once; by meeting twice, there’s a higher chance that this matter would be settled.
