Chap 1

My day started out as any other: I woke up in the morning and went through my normal routine. Once I had finished, I walked downstairs and into my kitchen to make myself some breakfast.

After I finished making breakfast and sat down to eat, I slid my laptop over to my side and pulled up Facebook marketplace. As I continued eating, I started to look through the postings for motorcycles within a certain price range.

A while later after not finding anything that interested me, I quickly finished eating and checked my phone for messages. I saw that I had a response on a bike that I had been looking at.

The bike was a 1981 Honda CM400E that was listed for $250.0. The owner had responded positively to my message where I asked if he would be willing to take $200.00 for the bike.

I responded to him that I could pick the bike up later this afternoon if he was open. I then went over to the workshop area in my house where I refurbish the bikes I sell. my current project is a 1980 Suzuki Katana GSX-1100S that had been missing a few parts and had a few dents and scratches.

I finished reattaching the carburetor after polishing and cleaning it the bike was now finally ready for auction. I stood up and went over to the sink to wash my hands and clean myself up a little bit after drying my hands off I checked my messages and saw that the seller for the Honda had responded to me.

He had replied that I could come pick up the bike sometime around 2:00pm at his address 1375 E Buena Vista Dr, Orlando. I texted him back to let him know that 2:00pm would work just fine for me. I then check the time on my phone and see that it is already 11:30am and I need to make a run to the store before I go meet the seller, so I grab my keys to my Toyota Tundra.

I walk down the ramp at the back of my mini home which used to be a semi-trailer which I had converted. I turn and walk over to my truck and type in the directions to the closest Walmart in the same direction of the sellers house into my phone.

It turns out that it is about 2 hours away which works out almost perfect since his house seems to only be about 15 minutes away from Walmart. I start my truck and connect my phone via Bluetooth and turn on some AC/DCs ”Shoot to Thrill ”.
