Pirates of Oceanlandia A Collection of Short Stories

The stench of burning flesh pierced the nostrils of Addeos, all around him were his fallen comrades lying on the once cold, but now exceptionally hot wood of the IWS (Imperial WarShip) Dragon, around Addeos there was nothing but the hot flames, hot flames and cold water, the Dragon began to go down, forever sinking beneath the waves of the North Elvanian Sea,

”Aultral! Help me! ” He shouted

to his surprise, an elvan man wearing an all black cloak, with a hood covering his head.

The man grabbed Addeos and pulled him up.

”Get a grip man! If you wish to survive this day. Follow me. ” The man said

The Elven man then rushed toward one of the walls of the burning ship, smashing it to pieces. More icey cold water rushed into the ship causing her to lurch over. Addeos followed suit diving into the cold sea. He stayed under the waves for that of a second and when he ascended to the top of the water he could hardly believe his eyes.

Above, him is a horror very few would ever witness. Massive ships with decks upon decks of cannon (plural for cannon is cannon) and metal plates on the side blasting each other to splinters. On one side are a bunch of Man-O-War ships with very moderate damage, and on the other side are Carracks (Medieval style ships) and Galleys (another medieval style ship) with heavy damage, some sinking and others on fire.

The side with the Man-O-War ships have flags on the back and the flag is the map of Oceanlandia and on the medieval ships there is an angel with a golden sword.

Addeos looks behind him to see the IWS Dragon towering over him with thick black smoke flowing off the deck, the ship is sinking in a way similar to that of the Titanic. In the water are hundreds of corpses of Elven and Human soldiers.

The Human Soldiers are dressed like british soldiers during the american Revolution only they
e wearing Green Coats instead of Red ones. The Elven soldiers have a similar look, only their costs are white.

Addeos who was speechless until he turned to the man in the black cloak. He spoke two words.

”Which One? ”

Though not very descriptive the man in the Cloak knew what he meant. He meant which ship had sunk the Dragon.

Addeos literally died of shock when the man in the cloak didn point towards one of the flying the Oceanlandian Flag, but a ship far off in the distance sailing into the sunset, flying a black flag with a pentagram on it. The symbol of Sekivo, Queen of the Demons, Goddess of Suffering and the Patron Saint of Pirates.
