Michael was about to say something when shouting was heard coming from the front of the expedition force.

The tanks immediately dropped their shields forward and protected both the right and left flanks of their group as they awaited for the arrival of the horde of monsters!

”Holy shit! It ’s like a Wolf Mageddon! ”

The horde of wolves had finally appeared in their sights, and saw them weaving through the trees, as they came charging towards them with immense momentum.

”Cast your buffs to our tanks! Healers, summon your healing totems! ” Emma started shouting on top of her lungs.

After that, lights started falling upon the tanks that ’s protecting their flanks, while healing totems of different appearances dropped in front of the tanks.

”Wizards, Hunters! Ready on my command! ” Emma yelled, as the Hunters readied their bows, while magic circles started appearing around the Wizards.

There was only a distance of a hundred meters separating them before their inevitable clash, and while the users are bracing themselves, the NPC soldiers are also preparing themselves.

From a distance, the man watched the mansion where Genesis and the others are living through the binoculars in his hands while sitting inside a rented car.

It was the assassin that accepted Jin ’s request to kill Michael who arrived at Central City a few days ago and have been watching Michael ’s movements since then, and he came to this neighborhood when he learned that Michael ’s friends are throwing a party tonight, and decided that during that event would be the best time to kill Michael.

But what the man didn ’t know is that there ’s also another pair of eyes watching his every action.

”This is the guy who came to kill Michael? Hehehe, what an idiot ” Genesis laughed with disdain in his eyes.

Through the scope of his sniper rifle, he was watching the man inside the car, who has been watching them a few days ago and at the same time, Genesis and the others has also been watching the man, who was clearly an amateur.

They had long discovered this guy, even Michael who had long noticed him would always feel stupid as he tried to ignore the guy during the last few days, as he didn ’t want to deal with him for the time being, and it ’s not like the man would suddenly make his move on him.

Amateur or not, assassins tends to wait for the best opportune moment to strike their target.

And parties are one of them, just like in the movies.

”Bang ” Genesis laughed.

”Wahh…the heck was that? ” the man in the car suddenly shivered as he looked around him, it was because he felt the threat of death looming over him for an instant before it quickly disappeared.

But even with that, the man wasn ’t perturbed as he just shrugged it off, thinking that it was just him being paranoid now that his time to shine is almost near.

It ’s not like he ’s a kid ’ Genesis thought, before putting away his sniper rifle and made his way down the small hill.

”Goddamn, we almost died many times ” Harrison cursed, panting as he leaned on his shield.

Almost all of the users died, including Rick.
It was because he wanted to show off in front of Emma and the girls even though he is clearly a wizard, and then he got himself killed during the process, and it ’s not like he has a skill similar to Shadow Dance, that enables the user to be immune to damage.

Right now, there are probably only thirty or so remaining users left, and Michael saw that the NPC troops suffered exactly three hundred thirty seven casualties during the battle with the horde of wolves.

”But at least the quest is almost over.
We just need to clean up some of the monsters who had fled earlier and let the army do their job of capturing the wolf cubs ” Emma replied, as she drank a mana potion.

The army and the users are busy with their own matters, as they healed their wounded, some are busy retrieving the corpses of their comrades, while there are also others who are resting and keeping a wary guard around their surroundings.

After resting for a few minutes, team after teams of users broke off from the group and started hunting the surrounding monsters that had just spawned, like a large black slob called Black Slime, Monster Bees, and birds.

Michael and his team continued grinding even with the lack of a wizard in their team, and it wasn ’t a problem for them as Michael and Tina ’s DPS are high enough to fill the hole in their team.

The Dual Horned Elemental Rabbit sent a zap of lightning towards the Level Twenty Eight Black Slime.

Suddenly, a shadow pounced out Tina ’s shadow and ripped the black slime into pieces, immediately taking the last chunk of its health, killing it.

”Monsters really do grow fast ” Harrison said, looking at the now juvenile blood wolf in front of him.

”They sure do ” Michael replied, even though his Dual Horned Elemental Rabbit is still considered a kit when it ’s already level twenty seven, while the wolves of Tina and the girls are now  level twenty and they are already in their juvenile years.

”Arodan! ”

The dual horned elemental rabbit suddenly jumped off from Michael ’s shoulders and charged towards Tina ’s blood wolf and brutally kicked it to the side, and picked up something from the ground among the items that were dropped upon the black slime ’s death and ate it.

”Hey! ” Tina shouted at Michael angrily.

Michael just laughed and shrugged his shoulders, as he really can ’t control the little guy, and at the same time, he was dumbfounded at the system window floating in front of him.

Your Dual Horned Elemental Rabbit has eaten a fragment of an Evolution Crystal.

’What? Little bastard! ’

Michael thought, as he really had the urge to strangle this damn rabbit.
