As Jace regains his vision, he falls onto his back ”damn it, it feels like I haven slept for days ” ” Ding, successfully learned curse of fatigue (level low), curse spell library unlocked ” Jace, now remembering the hex library, opens his status and checks his mana. Mana:40/100 ”holy shit, that curse used up 50 mana, that must be why I feel so tired. My body must not be accustomed to losing this much mana in a short time yet ”. Jace then opens the spell library which appeared under hexmancing, and as he opens it up he sees his status change to a dictionary like structure with bullet points along the left side with exploding hex beside the first point.

Exploding Hex (level low)

User draws an exploding symbol in the air using 10 points of mana, after the symbol is completed it takes 0.1 seconds to arm and then can be detonated by command to create an explosion of 500 pounds of force in every direction.

Jace looks at the top of the screen and sees 2 tabs,one slightly darker than the other.The darker one reads (cursemancing) and the lighter one reads (hexmancing). Jace switches to the cursemancing tab and sees that it is the same format as hexmancing except with the first line different.

Curse of Fatigue (level low)

User uses 50 points of mana to curse a target within 100 feet of the user that lasts for 10 minutes that slows down the targets movement of limbs and mouth.

After Jace inspects the new abilities, he tries to get up to check on the egg but after he sits up, he feels a wave of vertigo and lays back down. He collects mana but feels that he found and has collected the mana faster than he remembered.He checks his watch and instead of taking 10 minutes like last time, it took 7 minutes. ”I bet it has something to do with learning the hex and curse ” thought Jace. He goes back to collecting mana till dinner. After Jace finishes dinner and takes a shower he goes on his computer to Amazon and looks up bows ”guns are out because I am not old enough which leaves knives and bows ” he thought. As he looked through the bows, he finds that bows are not that expensive but arrows will add up. Jace cutting that off the list moves on to throwing knives ”even though I have hexs, I don know if they will be long range so I will also need to pick up a close combat knife ” He finds some he likes which have a 3 inch blade and come in packs of 6.He puts 2 in his cart then looks up combat knives and finds a karambit he likes.

He puts it in the cart and sets the quantity to 2. ” Jace heads down stairs and asks his parents if he can get the knives. They say yes, but are not listening when he explains. ”k,that is off my list ” he thinks as he is heading to bed. When Jace wakes up in the morning, he feels better and checks to see he has collected 2 more mana when he was sleeping.Now it was at 67/100. Jace goes to school, when he gets home at 2:30 he gets a text that his parents won be home till late because of a company dinner. After Jace gets inside he sets down his bag and goes into the forest behind his backyard.He finds a clearing and stands in front of a tree and draws the exploding hex. After he finishes, he takes a couple steps back but feels that the spot he is in is still dangerous so he takes a couple of steps to the right before detonating the hex. ”Boom, pop, crash! ” Jace watches as the hex blows half the tree apart and it comes crashing down ”damn I didn think it would be that powerful ” he thinks while feeling amazed . Jace tries another tree, this time bigger, but it doesn fall like the other one. After this Jace checks the time to see 30 minutes has passed, he goes back to his house and starts collecting mana to try the curse tomorrow. When he wakes up to go to school he checks his mana which is at 90/100 and then heads off to school.
