”Mama when will the Queen be here to talk about Gais wedding? I am tired of seeing her face. ” she joked.

”And I am tired of seeing yours. ” Aurelia sticks her tongue outside mockingly.

Philip walked into the dining room with parchment paper in his hand, he handed it to the head of the family as it was addressed to him. Everyone stopped eating when they noticed the royal seal on the parchment.

The parchment read ”Senior Clifton, it is with great honor to invite you and your family for lunch tomorrow so we can discuss the alliance between our family. ” Gaias heart skipped a beat out of nervousness.

”Well, that was quick, ” Aurelia chipped. She winked at her sister causing her to blush.

The next day, the family set to go to the palace. ”ugh, ” Aurelia grunted when Emily pulled the corset too tight.

”Lady Aurelia, can you suck in your breath? ” Emily asked

”But it is way too tight, I won be able to breathe if you pull it. ” Emily sighs feeling a light headache, this is what happens whenever Aurelia is to wear a corset.

”Lady Aurelia please comply, ” Emily begged

Pouting her pink lips Aurelia said ”But nana Emily it is going to kill me, what is the need for all this? can I just wear only the petticoat with no corset? no one will notice I promise. ” she solicited.

”I will call your mom to come to help you wear your clothes. ” at the mention of her mother, Aurelia turned and suck in her breath. Emily held the strings of the corset and pull, she tied the ends. Taking the petticoat, she wore it on her before wearing the ball gown on her body.

The ball gown was blue, it had four layers, a white lace at top, the hands were short and fluffy, it has a V neck which isn too deep.

”seat down so I will do your hair, ” grumbling some incoherent words, Aurelia sluggishly sat on the stool in front of the vanity mirror in her room.

”Gaia is the one going to meet her future mother-in-law, I wonder why I am being dolled up, ” she muttered causing Emily to chuckle.

Emily braided her hair on each side, then she held it up high all behind attaching it with pins. She applies lipstick to her lips.

She pulls her gown up and wore her shoe for her, ”There all set, you should go down. ” Emily packed everything and put them in place.

”Nana my garter is too tight, ” she complained but Emily gave her deaf ears, her lips twitched but she didn say anything.

Gaia wore a red ball gown, and her hair was tied into a tight ponytail, she wore little makeup, her gown outlined her curves indicating how tight her corset had been pulled.

”What took you so long Aurelia? ” Gracia asked, she checked her from head to toe and bobbed her head in confirmation.

”My corset took all my time, ” she muttered under her breath, ”Im sorry for keeping you waiting. ” They all entered the carriage, the coachman pull the reins of the horses.

As always Aurelia sticks her head outside the window, watching the way things move like magic. She might be a trouble maker but little things like this fascinate her, her eyes kept darting from place to place.

Lady Gracia doesn approve of such behavior but she didn say anything, this is part of her and she had no other choice but to accept the fact, its a good thing her hair was pinned.

The carriage ride took forty-five minutes when they got to the palace, Aurelia couldn help the wow which left her mom voluntarily. Though Prince Atlas had become a regular visitor to their house, they have never been invited to the palace, it sounds weird but it is true.

The coach pull the reins of the horses to stop them from walking, he stepped down and open the carriage door for them, and he took hold of Gaias hand to help her out of the carriage, while senior Clifton held his wifes hand. Aurelia didn wait to be assisted by him, her mother frowned but didn say anything.

Atlas who heard the sound of the horse stepped out of the house to receive the guests, he was accompanied by Apollo who was in his human form. Aurelia didn notice but the bird had left the house early in the morning.

Apollo took their coats, the weather of Svarga is very cold at this time of the year, the town is known for its cold weather, and it is colder than other towns.

Greeting each other, Atlas led them to the dining room. Queen Athena was in the courtroom with King Leander, they were discussing some trivial matters. After the discussion, the members of the court left.

Athena sighed, she felt tired. ”Leander I am getting old, when will you get married? I need someone to take my place, see your little brother is taking the bold step but you are doing nothing. Ive seen you with countless women over the years but they are all flings, when will you get serious? ” Athena asked with a deep frown on her beautiful face.

”Marriage is not something to be forced, when I decide to get married you will be informed. Lets hope you don die before then judging from the way he has been visiting. ” He said causing his mother the frown on Athenas face to deepen.

”What do you mean by that? ” she inquired

”I have been seeing Molock here, it is like he can wait to be with you, why don you go join him? ” Athena took in deep breaths to calm her raging heart.

”I am going to ignore that, I am going to meet my son and his bride-to-be. ” she left Leander who followed her as he couldn wait to see a certain someone. He has been keeping his distance for her good but it seems the universe doesn want her to be saved.

”Greetings Queen Athena, ” they bowed to the Queen who waved her hand.

”Greetings king Leander ” Leander didn bother to respond to their greetings, his eyes were set on one person who didn care about his existence.

They all sat down with Leander sitting at the head of the table, the Queen on his right hand and the Prince on his left. Gaia sat opposite the Prince, Mr., and Mrs. Clifton sat opposite each other Senior Clifton sat next to Gaia, and Gracia next to the Prince, Aurelia being Aurelia sat at the far end, she sat three seats away from her parents.

”You haven changed, ” Leander commented causing everyone to look at him, following his line of sight they noticed he was talking to Aurelia and they noticed her sitting position.

”What do you mean my king? ” She asked adjusting herself.

”You still don like to be among people, you still like your personal space just like how you were thirteen years ago. ” he chuckled when he remembered the scenario. A little Aurelia sitting on the floor with a book in front of her, she looked really serious like someone who is reading a book but she was just looking at pictures.

”Oh ” was all Aurelia said, she didn want to talk with the king or anyone else, luckily the maids came in with their lunch…
