There was no way she could make it to her flight in time tomorrow if he was going to keep her up all night.

After realizing that he was not going to talk, she unbuckled her seatbelt and asked, “Are you going in too?”

He looked at his watch.
“Yes.
It’s still early though, let’s stay in the car for a while, it’s warm in here.”

He then took out a cigarette from his pocket, lit it up, and took a puff while his eyes were fixated on Jiang Yao.

She looked at him smoke absent-mindedly.

It had been a long time since she saw him smoking.
He knew that she was not fond of the smell, and initially did it away from her, but after realizing that the smell lingered, he quit smoking altogether.
