Chapter 8 : Choose One.

It was Friday evening, the day of the assassination.

My 100th kill, I walked into my room after eating my supper and push my hand into the fake wall I had Mel install and walk into the secret room.

Like always the near range pistols were hunged on the walls while the long range range snipers were kept in cases on a table.

I walked towards the case of my favorite sniper.

The sniper that was doused in the scent of blood.

The sniper that was about to kill its hundredth human being.

”Am sorry that I make you do this, ” he spoke honestly as he put it into his black duffel bag.

”… ”

He knew that it had no life in it but he felt he had to say in order to release himself from a certain trauma he chose to stay ignorant about.

”Am sorry…. ”

After a brief span of silence in the room of Line Nagito, he went over the details.

”His crime is embezzlement of funds and – – – – cheating on his wize in secret, ” Marielle said.

I hear my phones ring tone and I answer the person listed as Crazy Stalker

<.....> I couldn talk but why.

I wanted to know her feelings towards her fathers killer after the mission was completed.

I ended the call.

Why didn I?

Recently I had grown attached to the masked girl because in a way she reminded me of Jel Tachi.

I jump out the window landing on a tree branch I had mastered to grasp when going out to assassinate criminals at night fall.

”Hmmmm!! ” I grinned thinking about how my stealth as an assassin has reached its peak in the past year when I look at my door seeing as my parents or even the neighbors haven noticed me holding onto a tree branch.

I jump down the tree with the next thing being capturing my bike and riding to a great spot of finishing off my target.

After a few minutes of riding I reach a certain building near the targets location and climb the stairs and then ;

”You worthless woman, ” I read the lips of a man slapping a woman as the woman falls to the floor of the room in tears.

Though I was a far distance from them I could some how tell what was going on in the house.

Maybe it was due to that weird surgery, I thought.

Anyways, I pull out the black rifle from the duffel bag and aim at the target from atop a tall arcade building.

Harden your heart, in the next few moments ;

BANG!!

One to the heart.

BANG!!

One to the right side of the head.

And just then….

”ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!! ”

A girls soft voice was heard on the call but for some reason I heard the voice behind me also as I stood atop this tall arcade building.

Zero – – no, Marielle dressed in a white dress without the black mask and voice modulator appeared with a teary expression.

”G–Great job. ”
