Barbaric Ways

As Im woken up by the overseer and his guards Im told its time for my first flight. They are going to test me out against a gang of murderers they caught yesterday and don feel like executing because they
e more valuable as fodder for the Pits.As I get towards the the entrance to the Pits they tell me to pick a weapon and armor, gladiator weapons don suit me although I do like the cestus which are a set of glove usually covered in spikes but I prefer the full steel variant which are made of plates of metal and as for armor I went with a helmet made of bronze with pauldrons made of hard leather and straps wraping around my torso.

After getting all my equipment strapped on I walk to the ready area to go wait for my introduction by the announcer. NOW INTRODUCING OUR ONE OF OUR MOST DANGEROUS NEWCOMERS TO THE ARENA JEAGER THE BARBARIAN AND HIS OPPONENTS THE CUTTERS AND THEIR LEADER ANDRE THE BUTCHER.As soon as the announcer finishes I enter the arena and see my opponents who all look kinda scraggly and feral and armed with very roughly shaped machetes all except the leader Andre who looked insane with big muscles and a large layer of fat and equipped with an arming sword in good shape and a worn out looking buckler shield which he looks like he knows how to use.

As we all square up for the deathmatch the announcer yells FIGHT!!!!

After the announcer yells for use to fight I put up my dukes and start moving forward toward the cutters and get ready.As I move forward the first of the five cutters jumps at me with his machete trying to gut me on the spot so I swatted his blade out of the way and give him a three shot combo with two jabs to the ribs and a hard hook right to his temple which at the very least has him out for this fight .As I finish with the first the second and third approach me looking pissed because I just put their friend in a coma so they approach from two different directions and attack.As they attack #3 moves a little faster than #2 so I kick him right in the gut sprawling him on the ground just as his friend attacks. Right as he swung I grabed his sword arm and snapped it at the elbow disabling him so I move in and headbut him hard feeling his skull crumble. Just after the headbut I grab #3 and smash his head by stomping on it as he started to rise killing him instantly.After killing the last 2 #4 runs towards me so I impale him by throwing one of the others machetes straight into his gut killing him instantly.Andre after watching all of his gang get taken apart by me he screams YOULL PAY FOR THAT BARBARIAN my response was simply ”Bring it bitch ” as he approaches he moved with more purpose and less speed than the others and then he took a light swing at me to test my defenses after which I threw a heavy swing which cracked his shield to pieces after which he dropped the shield and swung again which I ducked and hit him twice in the ribs,ducked a wild swing ,and threw a hammer blow to hi kidney which made him drop the sword so I picked him up high over my head roared and snaped his spine across my knee dropping him on the ground.After paralyzing Andre I killed the ones still breathing by snapping their necks.

After killing Andre and his Cutters I went back to the Gladiator barracks while the crowd cheered me on as they dragged the corpses away to be disposed of.As I got back to the barracks I said hi to Althea before I went to bathe to get the blood off me.As I entered the bath a naked women was shoved in the bath with me by one of the guards,of course I asked her why she was put in here with me while I was bathing.She says that she is to be my prize for wining the match and she stares at me shivering in fear at what she is probably imagining Im going to do ro her.Don worry Im not going to do anything to you my tribe raised me to believe that sex is meant to be between two or more consenting people and not something you force someone into.Oh thank the gods my mother warned me that as a servant in the Colosseum I run the risk of being sold off to a rich lord or a gladiator oh and my name is Katy by the way, hello Katy Im Jeager and I don plan on staying here very long and you can come with me and Althea if you wish and be ready because when we see the opportunity we
