” THAT IS ENOUGH.. ”

Alpha Creed walked through the trees into the clearing. You can visibly see everyone shiver as the power rolls over them. I can see Jace and Tate out of the corner of my eye standing up in all their naked glory.

Tate looked over to his dad and opened his mouth to speak but was quickly interrupted.

Jace interrupts with a snarl ” I will kill you for what you did to Evie. You should have never come back. ” Tate looks straight at him with a unreadable expression on his face and it about sets Jace off again.

”JACE ENOUGH! ” Beta Ren reprimanded his son as he to walked into the clearing. He then looked over to Alpha Creed with a slight bow of his head. Creed then looked at the four of us before he spoke.

”The four of you will meet us at the pack house in 15 while Ren and I let the pack know everything is okay. ” He demanded

The four of us dropped our heads down and in unison ” Yes Alpha. ”

After we all cleaned up and the boys dressed we arrived at the pack house 10 minutes later. We were all standing in Creed office staring at the floor none speaking.

”Which one of you wants to tell me what the ** just happened? ” he bellowed

Silence..

Taking a deep breath I calmed myself before looking up to speak. Gazing into Alpha Creeds green eyes was like like looking at a older version of Tate. It shook me for a second before I could compose myself. Licking my lips..

”It was my fault Alp.. ”

”No formalities here Evelyn you know better ” he interrupted.

Shaking my head in acknowledgment I spoke again. ” It was my fault Creed. In a moment of emotional instability and weakness I spoke a secret to Jace that set it him off ” my voice shaking at the end. Jaces face shot up as he glared at me ”Thats bull shit Ev and you know it. You should have told us… you shouldn have let his bullshit go. Are still so blind to him that you can see that he took advantage of you and the trust you gave him by giving him not only your heart but your body. ” As he dropped his head back down in anger I head ” You should never have been his.. ”

Tates growl rumbled deeply in his chest next to me and I heard Reeses breath hitch as he as well is hearing this truth for the first time. Out of the corner of my eye I watched as his eyes blackened with anger. But I could say nothing, I just stood there trembling.. Im so pathetic.

”Tate.. What is he talking about? ” spoke Creed. Hearing the shock in his voice called me to look up. Creed and Ren were both staring at me with worry in their eyes. I looked away ashamed.

His deep voice came from side me and I jumped..

”The night before you sent me to Southland. I had taken Evie.. ” Jace growled at the use of my nickname. Waiting a moment before he began again..

”The night before you sent me to Southland. I had taken Evie down to the lake like we used to and spent the day there. Before leaving the lake and taking her home she and I had slept together. After I had proceeded to take her home and then two hours later I was on my way to Southland. ” He spoke in a serious tone as if he was laying out the facts of the mission.

Collapsing to my knees as the last little bit of my heart shattered at those words. I sat there trembling before a white hot flame of anger bursted through my body. I stood up and walked infront of him. Looking up into those beautiful green eyes I saw nothing of the man I loved.

I swung my hand back and punched him in the face…
